What will it feel like to be under hypnosis?
Every person's experience with hypnosis is unique and may even differ from session to session. It's important to remember that however you feel during hypnosis is perfectly normal and okay. All you have to do is sit back, relax, and let your therapist guide you through the process. Trust that everything is as it should be.
Do I have to be in a deep trance for hypnosis to work?
Not at all! In fact, for certain types of work, a light trance is actually more effective. Don't worry about how deep you need to be – your therapist will take care of that for you. Just follow their instructions, have the intention for the process to work, and trust that it will.
Will I lose control during hypnosis?
You will remain aware of everything that's happening throughout the hypnosis session. You'll be able to hear and follow the therapist's instructions just as you would in a normal conversation. You are always in control, and nothing will happen during the session without your compliance. Your mind won't do anything that it doesn't want to do!
Will my tendency to overthink prevent me from going into hypnosis?
Your therapist has many different methods to guide you into hypnosis, so overthinking will not be a barrier. If you've ever been absorbed in a movie or TV show, then you have the ability to be hypnotized.
How many hypnotherapy sessions are needed to see results?

The number of sessions required can vary depending on the individual and their specific needs. Some individuals may see results after just one or two sessions, while others may require a longer course

Can hypnosis still work for me if I'm not a visual person?
Visualization is not necessary for hypnosis to be effective. If you've ever been absorbed in a movie or TV show and enjoyed it, then hypnosis can work for you too!
Do I have to relive past traumas to resolve my issues through hypnosis?
Not at all. Hypnotherapy is actually an excellent choice for resolving issues without having to revisit past traumas. You only need to be aware of how you're feeling currently and what you'd like to feel instead. Hypnosis can help you make changes quickly and without having to revisit the wounds of your past.
Is hypnosis the only tool I need to achieve my goals?
Hypnosis is simply a tool to bypass the critical factor of the conscious mind and access the subconscious mind, where all your programming is stored. Once your therapist has access to your subconscious mind, they will use various techniques and processes to help you make changes. Your therapist will determine which approach will be the most effective for you.
Can I have someone accompany me during my hypnotherapy session?

No, if you have a one-on-one session scheduled, no other person is allowed in the therapy room.

Can hypnosis be used to treat specific conditions or illnesses?
